Although there are no visible markings, I believe it is Sendai Tsuishu (lacquerware) or Sendai Tsuishu. Vintage. The vermilion color and carved design are very lovely. It's stylish for storing tea ceremony utensils or as a small item container. Although unused, it has been stored at home for a long time, and there are minor scratches, small paint chips, stains, and dullness from storage, including on the box.
