This is a sake bottle with a sturdy form that tapers towards the bottom, which could also be used as a flower vase. The foot is a "soroban" (abacus) style, similar to those seen in works by Shoji Hamada and Kanjiro Kawai. It is likely the work of a Mingei artist, but the maker and origin are unknown.
