This is a sake cup from a special grand exercise held by the former Imperial Japanese Navy in the eighth year of the Taisho era (1919). It's lacquered in the early Taisho period, giving it a deep, vermilion color. The inscription on the front reads "[振武 - Shinbu]". Size: Height 3.2cm, Diameter 10.0cm.
