Sizes and weights are also included. This obi dome was previously listed on Mercari as a new, unused, domestically produced genuine coral item. Among the many flower-shaped carved corals, I was drawn to the sharp geometric pattern of the triangle and purchased it. The price tag is still attached in the photos, but the obi dome is a high-quality item from Yonezawa Sango, a coral specialty store with over 100 years of history in Kochi. The beads used in the handmade chain, which matches the color of the obi dome, are believed to be coral, but have not been authenticated, so it is not certain whether they are natural or dyed. The chain can be used as a necklace as shown in photo 17. It can also be used as a brooch, and as shown in photo 20, wearing the brooch and necklace separately creates a classic look suitable for celebratory occasions. The subtle dawn color of the coral is, I believe, a color that enhances the auspiciousness. There is a line (as seen through a magnifying glass in photo 19, at the arrow) on the triangular edge of the obi dome in the center, so it is not for those who are concerned about such details. It is not a deep crack, but only on the surface. According to the specialist shop, coral can develop cracks due to pressure changes when it is harvested from the deep sea, but it does not interfere with its use as an accessory, nor will it crack further.
