This is an old Bizen-yaki square flat plate with yakishime (unglazed) finish. The hard yakishime plate features a beautiful kiln-changed black glaze with rope pattern decoration. Food served on this wabi-sabi style unglazed plate will look stunning. There is a small chip in one place, but otherwise, it is in very good condition. This item is recommended for those who appreciate earthenware plates.
