This is a sake cup with a design that harmoniously combines Yarai (arrow) and Hoshikiriko (star-cut) patterns. The red color is not a dark shade like Akado (red copper), but rather a red amber color without any orange tones, like Akagane (red gold). This is an old item, but the exact age is unknown. I purchased it from a stylish, old glass shop in the downtown area. They had both lapis lazuli and red, but the shop owner told me that red was more valuable in both gemstones and glass, so I bought this one. I have cherished it as part of my personal collection, but I am selling it to organize my belongings. Please refer to the images for the size. As it is an antique item, there may be minor scratches. It is very beautiful as shown in the images, but there is a tiny chip on the bottom from the time of purchase (see image 13). It's a dull chip that you can't feel when you touch it, so it's not a sharp edge that could cut your hand. I hope that someone who loves Edo Kiriko and understands the condition will purchase it.
