The Nikon SB-12 Speedlight for the F3 was one of the accessories available from the F3's initial release, and it was the first speedlight (strobe) from Nikon cameras to support TTL metering. When combined with the Nikon F3 body, TTL auto flash photography is possible. With TTL auto flash, the lens aperture can be used freely within a wide range of f/2 to f/22 (ASA/ISO100), expanding the metering range. Operation has been confirmed.
