Tamiya 1/20 McLaren Ford MP4/8 This is a plastic model kit of the McLaren Ford MP4/8, which, despite its underpowered engine, achieved great success, including overtaking Prost and Hill at the legendary wet Donington Park, winning five consecutive Monaco Grand Prix, and winning Prost's retirement race and McLaren's final race (Senna's last victory). This is the original package before it was changed to a black package, and the bottom box is from the early 1990s, with other products printed as a catalog. It's a full kit with a removable cowl, replicating the Ford HB V8 engine and radiators, and when assembled as is, it becomes the legendary Donington Park specification. The rear cowl and rear wing are molded in one piece, and there are no noticeable dents or distortions in the cowl. The markings are yellowed and it is unknown if they can be used as is. It has been carefully stored, so the package has no noticeable dents and is relatively good for its age, but there are some scratches, yellowing, and dirt.
