I received this from an acquaintance, and it has only been tested for power. It has been stored in a closet since then. The build quality is very solid, and it has excellent stability. There are some minor scratches on the case from storage, but the sewing machine itself is very clean. It has a wonderful atmosphere and is lovely as interior decor. There was no instruction manual when I received it, but it can be downloaded online. Please understand that this is a used item before purchasing.
