Adopted as a flight jacket from the 1970s to the 90s, it was issued not only to the Air Force but also to the Naval Air Force. Made of dark blue leather, the early models had an orange lining like the American MA-1 flight jacket, but this was discontinued in the mid-term models, and an orange vest was stored in the back pocket. A removable boa collar and liner are attached for winter and cold regions. The chest has a rank pocket for attaching rank insignia and insignia, and the left arm is equipped with a pocket with a pen holder. Initially, only aircrew members were allowed to wear it, and they wore it over their flight suits, but after it was prohibited to be worn during flights in the 90s, it was allowed to be worn by ground personnel, limited to professional soldiers. However, it was not officially issued, but rather civilian products or products manufactured by suppliers for civilian use.
