Although only worn 3 times, there are quite a few wrinkles from wear. The size is US9, equivalent to 27cm. I usually wear 26.5cm boots, but I bought one size up because I thought it would look better to wear these with the laces closed. They fit without any problems. The color is oak brown. Around 1880-1920, when vaudeville was all the rage, there were many vaudeville theaters in big cities like New York, and they were very lively. The content was also varied, including singing, dancing, comedy, magic, and more. Many early silent film stars, such as Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Laurel & Hardy, and the Marx Brothers, came from vaudeville. They traveled from theater to theater. The 2 Monkeys "VAUDEVILLE" is a boot created with the image of a vaudeville actor, who was also a traveling performer. (It is not a reproduction of a specific vintage boot.) It was inspired by boots from America and France around 1910. It is a cap-toe, outside-laced boot with a high toe, also called a high-toe or bulldog-toe, and a waist leather sewn with separate upper and lower parts. The original last with a slightly oblique toe, combined with a small cap, a large waist leather, a low height, and a small heel, gives it the appearance of boots from that era. By combining two types of manufacturing methods, the waist is strongly tightened to reproduce the elegant appearance of boots from that time.
