I already had my own iPod, so I kept this one stored in a dark place without using it. I have confirmed that it can be charged and connected to a PC, but I don't have any headphones compatible with the iPod, so I haven't been able to check the sound quality. Battery life is unknown. The battery has not been replaced since it was purchased. The cable that was stored with it is also included, although it is quite deteriorated. There are fine scratches and dirt overall.
