Beethoven's complete piano concertos with Leon Fleisher and the Cleveland Orchestra conducted by George Szell. Both the piano and orchestra deliver a magnificent performance. Fleisher developed focal dystonia and lost the use of his right hand in the 1960s, subsequently focusing on a repertoire for the left hand only. This recording of the concertos was made a few years before he lost the use of his right hand. Recorded around 1960, the sound quality is clear, thanks to EPIC.
