The socket is a general E26 type, and can be replaced with LED bulbs or fluorescent light bulbs. The wiring has not been updated, and it will be delivered as is. It was given to me about 40 years ago, and other details are unknown. Please understand that there are signs of aging and use, such as paint peeling on the bulb attachment part, slight deformation and dents on the shade, small scratches and scuffs, discoloration, and stains that cannot be completely removed.
