Okeiei Wooden Rice Bucket I believe the hoops are made of copper. My family bought this, but didn't end up using it, and it's been stored in the kitchen with pots and pans. It's been used about 10 times. As shown in photos 7 and 8, there is some blackening in the corners. As shown in photo 9, there is blackening on the rim. Because it wasn't cared for, it has dried out and the hoops have come off. I hope someone who can care for it will consider purchasing it.
