Based on the hit Disney animated TV show of the same name, "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" puts the player in control of Buzz Lightyear, a top space ranger who must stop the evil Emperor Zurg's insidious plot. The action takes place over 12 stages of overhead blast action. At the end of each stage, a powerful boss awaits Buzz. To reach the boss safely, you must collect power-ups and items that appear throughout the stages. Buzz must also race against the clock to reach the end of each stage. The graphics are in vibrant color and capture the spirit of the animated show. Zurg's forces are large and dangerous, so keep your finger on the trigger at all times.
