From Anchor Hocking, known for "Fire King." This is a frill-top vase from the 1940s-50s. It features a mid-century-esque black splash pattern. This is a super rare item that is not often seen. Hazel Atlas also made products with the same pattern, but the big difference here is that the base is frosted glass with a milky white color. There were two of these products, but one has been sold, so there is only one in stock. The one being introduced here has more of the pattern, and in the side-by-side image, it is the one on the right. If you put in Christmas poinsettias or New Year's senryo, you can create a chic red and black flower arrangement. It also seems to go well with pastel gerberas and yellow sunflowers. It has a sharp design, but it is also accommodating, and I think it is a flower vase that can be used for both Japanese and Western styles. There are some minor signs of aging, but there are no chips or cracks. Considering its age, it is in very good condition.
