Here's a Noritake piece I acquired from an American antique dealer. The central "M" is the initial of Morimura. The family crest of the Morimura family (a downward-facing wisteria) is reversed to an upward-facing wisteria! This bowl was released in the Meiji era, specifically in the first year of the Taisho era (1912). The gold gilding on the rim remains at about 70-80%. There are no scratches like cutlery marks. It's relatively clean with no noticeable stains or damage. 18.5 x 12.3 x 3.6-4.5cm
