Suo (Sappan Wood) Alum Mordant The label seems to have been water damaged and smudged, but the contents appear to be intact. Recommended as a material for Kumihimo braids and Obi-jime cords, for dyeing and weaving collections, and as reference material for reproduction projects. This is a part of a large quantity that was passed on to me. I myself am mostly ignorant, so I cannot answer detailed questions about the product. Also, although the name of Domyō is included (or a sticker is attached), I cannot accept claims such as it not being made by Domyō.
