This item was purchased about two years ago. I used it for freshwater and saltwater bait fishing, etc. I haven't used it many times, so I think it's in good condition. After using it in saltwater, I always rinsed the reel with water. The rotation is smooth, without any roughness. This is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things.
