PADMORE&BARNES, a shoe factory founded in Ireland in 1934. The company's specialty, commonly known as "Wallabee shoes," with suede leather, crepe soles, and a moccasin style, was conceived in the 1960s. When people think of "Wallabees," many probably think of Clarks, but it was none other than "PADMORE&BARNES" that produced iconic models like "Wallabee" and "Natalie" as a partner factory of Clarks until 1987. Following the closure of the factory, production has now moved to Portugal, but the traditional handmade techniques have been preserved, and they continue to be produced using the same methods and lasts as in the British (Irish) era. The moccasin construction provides a foot-hugging fit, and the natural rubber crepe sole offers excellent cushioning for a comfortable wear.
