Rare Wartime Book of Writings ★ Imperial Japanese Navy Admiral Kizo Kobayashi, Lieutenant General Mitsuyoshi Shimizu, Major General Yoshito Takagi, Major General Kumatarō Uyama, Kokichi Ono, and other military personnel, monks, Baron Mitsui, etc. A valuable wartime accordion-fold book of writings. Judging by the years written, it appears to be from 1942-1943 (Showa 17-18). Many of the writings are from Imperial military personnel, including Admiral Kizo Kobayashi of the Navy, Lieutenant General Mitsuyoshi Shimizu, Major General Yoshito Takagi of the Army, Major General Kumatarō Uyama, Major General Kokichi Ono, and others. Some have business cards attached. Others include writings from the Chief Abbot of Chion-in Temple in Kyoto, Zuien Ikuhō, the Chief Priest of Eihei-ji Temple, Rosan Takashina, Vice-President of the Naval Affairs Council, Josuke Yasuda, Baron Takakiyo Mitsui, and a total of 12 pages. It is very old, so there are some stains, yellowing, and dullness, but there is not much significant damage (there are some scratches), and I think it is in good condition considering its age.
