A set of two pre-war, likely Japanese-made glass cups. Blue tones. Smaller cup (right in photo 1) Please see photos 3-9. Made of thin, fragile glass. It's a miracle they survived without breaking. Features the distortions and numerous bubbles characteristic of old glass. There are two noticeable chips on the rim (photo 7). The larger chip is about 4mm long, and the smaller one is slightly smaller than a sesame seed. In addition, there are several tiny chips on the rim that are barely perceptible to the touch. There is a 7 x 8 mm chip on the rim (photo 14). There is a 1.5 cm crack on the side. The surface in this area shows no scratches to the touch or under light, and is believed to be an internal crack in the thick glass from the manufacturing process. Shows signs of use.
