This is a knife from the now-defunct Yamashita Seed Scissors Manufacturing. It's double-edged. Although unused, it had a layer of rust-preventative oil on it, likely applied when it was made, that had hardened and turned brown, so it has been professionally sharpened (and is therefore ready to use). The handle has also been replaced (with cherry wood). The bolster is plastic. Please take a close look at the photos (the grid in the background is 1cm squares).
