Purchased over 25 years ago from an antique shop in Paris. This is an old wooden coffee mill. I was told it was from around the 1920s-30s. It's made in France and has a French logo. This logo is very unique, and it looks like someone is playing a musical instrument or smoking a pipe. I was told it might have been produced by Peugeot as an outsourced product. It has a calm, wooden construction and a shabby, antique mill-like, very chic appearance. The handle has a wooden knob, which is cute. It's very old and was actually used in France for a long time. As you can see in the photos, there is some worm damage at the bottom of the wooden frame. Some ground beans remained in the receiving tray, so it seems it was actually used. It has been used for many years and can grind beans, but the precision is unknown. The condition is almost the same as when I purchased it, so there is dust, etc. Please clean it appropriately if you intend to use it. It's a wonderful piece that exudes a shabby and chic antique feel, even as a display item. If you display it, the worm damage might not be very noticeable as shown in the photos.
