Textile techniques developed in cities holding ancient ruins, and these techniques and cultures have been passed down to modern Pakistani carpets. Pakistani hand-woven carpets are made by hand, taking several months to a year to complete. Therefore, no two carpets have the same design or size, making each one a unique piece in the world. The appeal of this carpet lies in its durability and the warm, wine-red color. ■ About the Design It features a subtle medallion reminiscent of plants at the center, with symmetrical flowers and vines spreading outwards. The balance of luxurious red and navy blue is exquisite.
