They are made from "white wood," which is quite light and easy to carve, so you can add further details with a carving knife or similar tools. The paint is water-based spray paint and paint (with some leather applied), and while varnish has been applied on top, they are vulnerable to rain. These are amateur-made and show signs of use (color transfer, scratches, etc.), so please purchase only if you are not concerned about these imperfections.
