"IDEAL CUIR" was known for producing some of the highest quality leather in France during this era, and this is a rare archive from their golden age, when they had "CLAUDE MONTANA" as their designer. (The "JOE KIMIC" label seems to have had a very limited production run.) As you can see from the images, this is a truly exceptional piece with its fine, supple black leather, short-length box silhouette, and structured pattern, creating a mode and rugged design. Claude Montana is known for his body-conscious power shoulders, but this jacket has a beautiful drop shoulder without padding, making it a rare and easy-to-wear product. (Many shops even sell them with the padding removed.)
