Final Price Reduction Levi's リーバイス 50SXX (501XX) Made in Japan w32 LVC BIGE Red Selvage Reissue JAPAN Selvedge Button Fly ⚫︎Auction Listing This is a Japanese reissue of the 1950s 501XX from around 1999, before the launch of Levi’s Vintage Clothing. A unique naming convention was used during this period, and this pair is called 50SXX, which doesn't have the 501XX designation on the leather patch (it's blank). (It seems the inner tag usually has the information). I struggled quite a bit because the inner tag is missing, but I was able to identify it by the J09 on the back of the buttons, the hidden rivets, and the double black bar tacks. It has been worn quite a bit and has some damage. The noticeable tears have been patched from the back with iron-on patches (front left and right, and back left and right pockets). The hems are raw, so the next owner can choose to have them re-hemmed or cut off.
