This is a woven hanhaba obi (half-width obi) in a strong bluish-reddish-brown color, similar to adzuki bean, burgundy, or Bordeaux. It doesn't have a specific seasonal feel, so it can be used year-round, but personally, the colors give a more autumn/winter impression. The edges are finished with tassels on one side and unfinished on the other, folded inward. I had no problem tying it as is. There are signs of wear from tying.
