The soles are non-slip, so they're safe to wear. The size is L. According to the chart in photo 3, the approximate sizes are: Women's: 26.5-28.5cm Men's: 26-29cm I bought a pair for myself and tried them on. My foot size is 24.5cm, and they felt a little big, but I could slip them on easily, and there was a little extra space at the heel.
