This is a Kokeshi doll of a fox from Toyokawa Inari Shrine, found while cleaning out my parents' house. It's characterized by the golden jewel painted on its forehead. It's a type of Kokeshi doll with a small window, inside of which is another, smaller Kokeshi doll. It's popular as a folk craft and local toy. Height: 13cm It has been stored in a case for a long time, but I think it's in good condition considering its age. Please refrain from purchasing if you do not understand antiques and vintage items, or if you are sensitive to such things.
