I think the exterior condition is good for its age. The stiff leather has "matured" nicely over the years, making it comfortable to use. However, peeling has appeared inside the pouch in recent years. I consulted the authorized retailer where I purchased it, and they said it was a type of aging deterioration and that repair was possible but would be costly, so I declined.
