Hataman Touen is based on the traditional techniques of Imari Nabeshima-yaki, and its sometsuke (underglaze blue) features the techniques of "Iro-Nabeshima" and rich painting drawn with delicate brushwork. While inheriting traditional techniques, they create works that incorporate unique techniques and designs that suit modern lifestyles.
