He was permitted to build the "Korin-an Kiln" near the Kakiemon Kiln. He was selected as a Contemporary Master Craftsman by the government and received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette in 1984. This is a truly beautiful work by the master craftsman Korin-an, faithfully and carefully depicting a masterpiece in the Enpo style of Kakiemon.
