Born on Oahu, Eric grew up surrounded by music, studying instruments, music theory, and choral music. He won a music competition in 1993 and debuted with a band. He won the Na Hoku Hanohano Award, equivalent to the Hawaiian Grammy Awards, with Na Kama, a group formed with Brian Mehlberg, and also performed as a member of Ka’ala Boys. This is his solo debut album, "Crossroads."
