It has a bright and adorable expression, as if saying, "Look at me, look at me!" as it tries to crawl. It has a plump body and wears a red brocade bib with gold thread. It was made with the wish for the rich and happy growth of children and has been carefully displayed while watching over the children of many generations of families and guests at celebratory banquets. The lacquer tray's origin is unknown, but its thin construction and vermilion lacquer, applied to the carved surface, are delicate and beautiful. It can also be used for serving sweets and dishes.
