This is a special dip net (tamo-ami) for catching glass eels (shirasu-unagi). The stainless steel frame is made of 3mm round bar, and the stainless steel mesh uses 20-mesh with a wire diameter of 0.29. The tip has an angled opening. The approximate size of the dip net is: height 18cm (including the diagonal part), width 16cm, depth 15-17cm, and the handle length is about 12-13cm.
