The positions of the connecting tabs are different. Adding them to Brio rails allows for intersections with road rails, etc. They can be connected to Brio rails, as well as IKEA, Imaginarium, Thomas, and other brands. They are made of soft plastic, so there may be minor scratches. When shipping, the yellow bars will be removed and wrapped in packing wrap.
