Museum exhibit. Spout: 2 cm Height: 9 cm Width: 8.5 cm This is a pair of sake bottles. It's Kutani ware, and the bottom has the two characters for Kutani. Please use it to hold sake, etc. Two small sake cups shaped like people's heads are included. When the smaller cup is placed on the body of the sake bottle, it becomes Okame (a woman). When the larger cup is placed on top, it becomes Daruma (a traditional Japanese doll). The sake cups can be used to drink sake directly. Inside the Daruma cup, the words "I'll live to ninety-nine" are written in red. Inside the Okame cup, the words "I'll live to a hundred" are written in red. The Okame cup is slightly smaller than the Daruma cup, which I think is perfect for a couple to enjoy sake together. I hope they can live a long life together as the red letters suggest.
