This is an offering of the discontinued wooden-bodied fountain pen "Brier 3776" from PLATINUM (Platinum Pen). It uses the wood used in smoking pipes and other smoking accessories, incorporating its reliable strength and the difficulty of processing it into a fountain pen. It also features a rare MS (Music Nib), which can be used for writing musical scores, of course, but also allows for writing distinctive characters. The Brier series uses a cap-and-barrel fit, but there is no looseness. Also, although the wooden body tends to get dirty, there are no particular stains or scratches. I have enjoyed using it with a dip pen several times and kept it in storage. A Brier with an MS nib is not often seen. I am offering it for sale to organize my collection.
