Cutlery purchased during the Showa era. This is a set of 10 pieces: 5 table spoons and 5 table knives. All are made of stainless steel. The handles have matching retro check patterns. They are thick and sturdy. The design is unique and lovely, unlike anything made today. Purchased over 55 years ago and used occasionally. There are scratches from use, discoloration and dullness due to age, and some rust-like marks. The handles of the table spoons are warped. Please refer to the photos for condition and size.
