This was a gift from my aunt. It seems it was kept in new condition. It was a set with a confectionery container. This is a reasonably sized tray. A bookmark from Tanaka-ya, a Tsugaru lacquerware specialty store that has now closed, was included. My grandfather and father were Tsugaru lacquerware artisans. Tsugaru lacquerware is durable because it is painted with many layers of lacquer, and the patterns are also gorgeous.
