It's cute to wear with a few buttons open to show the Tyrolean tape. Right: A calm, muted orange (close to brown?) with cute wooden buttons. The length can be adjusted with the three-stage buttons on the shoulder straps. Both cover your bottom completely and are thin, so I think they'd be cute layered over a T-shirt with denim or wide pants.
