As I'm posting the details like this, I realized that what I thought was the SFT25R was actually the SFT25. This is a big difference. If we're talking solely about the beam of the SFT25R, the Sofirn SK1 long-range tactical flashlight and the Wurkkos TD07 were excellent. I had high expectations for the side-switch type small EDC, the sofrin sr12, but it was a complete miss. Its beam performance was average. Reason for this item being "near unused": I thought I had lost it right after buying it, but it was sleeping in a bag I don't usually use. Therefore, I've hardly used it.
