A must-have for miniature lovers?! Here's a cute congratulatory envelope I found in Kyoto. Although miniature in size, it's still the real deal, using the "tatou-ori" folding method. The gold and silver sprinkled Japanese paper is "danshi" paper, which has a textured surface. Delicate "chiyogami" paper crafts adorn it: one with a small spinning top, and the other with a small pinwheel. Each one is handmade. I also love "chiyogami" crafts and have collected them, carefully storing them as a miniature "chiyogami" craft collection.
