I purchased it as a genuine work, but I am not an expert and cannot definitively confirm its authenticity. Please examine the images and make your own judgment before purchasing. 【Daiso Sogen】 1772-1860 435th Abbot of Daitoku-ji Temple. 14th Chief Priest of Obai-in, a sub-temple of Daitoku-ji. Entered Obai-in at the age of 6, and studied under Yugoku Sotsu. He used the art names Kukashitsu and Sakumu, later changing to Koshunan. He excelled in waka poetry, the tea ceremony, and calligraphy and painting. He was close to Gen Gensai Soshitsu, the 11th generation of the Urasenke school, Koshu Soso, the 10th generation of the Omotesenke school, Ishinsai Soshu, the 7th generation of the Mushakoji Senke school, and Soetsu Matsumura. He wrote the diary "Kukashitsu Nikki" (held by the Mushakoji Senke family), and a collection of waka poems published after his death, "Daiso Iei."
