Feel free to comment. ◆ Model Number LS-700BS ◆ Overview This is a Les Paul Standard from the 1970s Aria Diamond (now Aria Pro II) with a Gibson decal. This particular guitar is one of the first made when Arai & Co., Ltd. entered the electric guitar business. It was customized to look like a Gibson by the previous owner, who was wealthy (according to the owner of the musical instrument store in Fussa, Tokyo, where it was purchased). The front PU has been replaced with a SEYMOUR DUNCAN SPH90-1n Phat Cat, but the original humbucker PU is also included. The pots are CTS. The pegs have been replaced with GOTOH Magnum Lock. It's very easy to play, and it has a clear, well-defined sound for both clean and distorted tones. Neck adjustment in October 2024. There are some cracks and looseness in the tone and volume knobs.
