These are branches from over 150 pesticide-free oak trees, harvested for shiitake mushroom logs. Use them as perches for stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles. The rough bark of the oak gives a unique presence that you won't find in other trees. These branches have been dried for nearly a year, unlike branches found on the ground, so there's no fungal or other infestation. The surface has been washed twice with a brush and dried. They can be used for small animals and reptiles, as well as insects.
