This is a set of a long kimono and haori (outer jacket) that I sewed when I was young. The fabric has a crisp feel, and it seems to be wool with a bit of synthetic fiber, but I'm not sure. It's an old item, but there are no moth holes. It's a kimono that I've kept in a tea box, as neither my children nor grandchildren have had the opportunity to wear it. It's a new item with the basting stitches still in place. If anyone is interested, looking for one, or would like to wear it, please consider it. I'm not sure about the size. If the "ohashori" (the folded-up part at the waist) is let down, it seems like it could fit a child up to the middle grades of elementary school, but I don't have any young children, so I can't try it on.
